The Samsung Galaxy Tab is one of the best-selling tablets on the market. Samsung has already sold 1.2 million Galaxy Tabs and is keen on expanding its share in the worldwide tablet market. Word is that Samsung is already working on the next version of the Galaxy Tab. What's more, the Galaxy Tab2 could be introduced as early as next week.
It is not clear whether the new Galaxy Tab will have a larger display, a faster processor or other features that would differentiate it from the 7 inch tablet currently available.
Previous rumors had suggested that Galaxy Tab2 would have a Super AMOLED display and a dual core Samsung Hummingbird processor. But because Google prefers NVIDIA Tegra 2 processors for tablets running Android 3.0 or Honeycomb Samsung may drop that plan and use a Tegra 2 processor instead.
