ONKYO TO LAUNCH 10 INCH ANDROID TABLET

Onkyo, the Japanese PC Maker, launched a whole line of Windows 7 tablets recently. And now the company has set its sight on the ubiquitous Android tablet space as well. PC Watch reports that Onkyo will soon launch a 10 inch tablet PC with a second generation NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor. The device will run Android 2.2 operating system.

The Onkyo tablet will have a 10.1 inch capacitive multitouch display with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels. Other specifications include WiFi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1, 512MB of RAM, a 1.3 megapixel webcam and 8GB of storage. There will also be an HDMI output with optional dock accessory.

Onkyo doesn't usually sell its products directly in the US. This machine is unlikely to be different either. But if you have taken a fancy to this one, you should be able to pick it up from importers like Dynamism or China Grabber.
